The warning follows allegations that Saudi military aircraft attempted to prevent an Iranian passenger plane from landing at Sanaa International Airport.

According to Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree, Houthi air defense forces confronted what he described as Saudi warplanes that allegedly tried to interfere with an Iranian civilian aircraft carrying more than 200 stranded, wounded, and sick passengers bound for Sanaa. The group vowed that any future attempts to violate Yemeni airspace would trigger a "comprehensive response" targeting Saudi airports and vital interests on land and at sea. �
