1 Dead, Another Injured in Saturday Night Montgomery Shooting

A fatal shooting in west Montgomery, Alabama, has left one person dead and another injured, according to the Montgomery Police Department.
Police said officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 7:52 p.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of Westcott Street. When officers arrived, they found an adult man suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A female victim was also found with a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims. �
